How to - Smokey Nails!

Aqui está o material que vamos precisar para fazer umas unhas esfumadas! Dois vernizes: um branco e outro roxo; acetona; cotonete; palito; pires e esponja.

Here's the stuff we need to do some smoky nails! Two nail polishes: one white, one purple; acetone; swab, toothpick, sponge and saucers.

1. Baixar as cutículas com cuidado com a ajuda de um palito.

1. Lower the cuticles gently with the help of a toothpick.

2. Pegue num verniz roxo.

2. Pick a purple nail polish.

3. Espalhe uma pequena quantidade no pires.

3. Spread a small amount on the saucer.

4. Pegue no verniz branco.

4. Pick the white nail polish.

5. Coloque a mesma quantidade de verniz mas cruzando-o com o verniz roxo anteriormente colocado.

5. Place the same amount of nail polish but  intersecting with the purple polish previously placed.

6. Agora pressionamos uma esponja contra esta mistura.

6. Now press a sponge against this mixture.

7. E colocamos na nossa unha tendo o cuidado de incluir nela a zona de junção das cores.

7. And we place the sponge in our nail taking care of including in it the zone of junction of the two colors.

8. Deixamos a esponja sobre a unha alguns segundos e repetimos este procedimento em todas as outras.

8. We leave the sponge on the nail a few seconds and repeat this procedure for all the nails.

9. Por fim é só preciso molhar um pouco o cotonete com acetona para retirar os excessos.

9. Finally we just need to wet a bit the swab with acetone to remove the excess.

How To! Stripe Nails!

 Vamos precisar de 4 vernizes: vermelho, amarelo, laranja e transparente.
 We're going to need 4 nail polishes: red, yellow, orange and a glassy one.

1. Primeiro agitamos o frasco do primeiro verniz que vamos utilizar, o cor de laranja e que será a base para o restante trabalho que vamos realizar.
1. First we shake the nail polish that we're going to use, the orange one, and that will be the base for the rest of our work.

2. Aplicamos a 1ª camada de verniz laranja.
2. Apply the first layer of the orange polish.

2. Reforçamos a cor com mais uma passagem deste verniz.
2. Increase the color with one more layer of this polish.

3. Agora, agitamos o verniz amarelo, que iremos usar para realizar as primeiras riscas verticais, uma em cada das unhas.

3. Now, shake the yellow nail polish, that we're going to use to do the first vertical stripes, one in every nail.

4, Com a mão firme, desenhamos a risca ao longo da unha com cuidado e precisão.
4. With steady hand, we trace the stripe along the nail carefully and with precision.

5. Está na hora de agitar o frasco de verniz vermelho para fazer outras riscas ao lado da risca amarela.

5. It's time to shake the red nail polish to do the other stripes next to the yellow ones.

6. Com o mesmo cuidado e firmeza, traçamos uma risca vertical em cada uma da unha paralela a cada risca amarela.
6. With the same caution and stability, we trace a vertical line in every nail, paralel to the yellow one.

7. Por fim, agitamos o verniz transparente que será aplicado por cima do desenho realizado para uma protecção dupla e para dar brilho extra. 

7. Lastly, shake the glossy polish, that will be applied over the draw that we have done, for a doble protection and for a extra glow.
