There is a huge fascination for high heels. They are elegant, sexy, can lengthen the silhouette,  they ensure another posture and can highlight our contours. But walking with them isn't so fascinating .. it takes some practice and confidence and also some tips to feel powerful when every step we take.

Existe um enorme fascínio sobre saltos altos. São elegantes, sexy, alongam a silhueta, garantem outra postura e destacam os nossos contornos. Mas andar com eles não é assim tão fascinante.. é preciso confiança e algum treino e também algumas dicas para nos sentirmos sempre poderosas a cada passo que damos. 

1- Work it out at home. Begin with high heels and increase the size of the heel gradually. 10cm are consider the utmost for most women.

1- Treina em casa. Começa com saltos mais pequenos e vai aumentando gradualmente. 10 cm são considerados o máximo para muitas mulheres.

2- Give some rest to your feet and don't stay too long standing.

2- Descansa os pés e tenta não ficar em pé durante muito tempo.

3- For the ones that stay all day long standing and working, the wedges are the most appropriate.

3- Para quem passa o dia todo em pé os mais indicados são os sapatos de cunha.

It seems that Daft Punk are the headers of the new campaign by Saint Laurent at Paris, given the new musical project of the maison. The clues to a possible colaboration appeared in October when the band sang during the presentation of the first collection.

Later it was revealed the tease with Daft Punk and Pharrel Williams where the artists show up on a black shining smoking of the brand. Here are some of the images of the campaign and one of the hits this summer!

Parece que os Daft Punk protagonizam a nova campanha da Saint Laurent em Paris, a propósito do projecto musical da maison. As pistas sobre uma possível colaboração surgiram em Outubro quando a banda tocou na apresentação da primeira colecção.

Hats from Ascott

The traditional horse races held since 1711 are frequented by British and European elite family but not only. It is considered one of the most important events of the year and one of his excentricities are the hats. This is undoubtedly an essential element of tradition and as such there are specific rules of clothing : your shoulders should be covered, mini-skirts are prohibited and must be used a dress with a hat and top hat for the gentlemans.

I love wearing hats but I do not always find them practical and in this case much less ... anyway I think some are true pieces of art, and many of them despite the originality (sometimes excessive) are extremely elegant.

I Guess that whoever has the misfortune to be behind some of the owners of these hats will lose half of the race, hope ladies heels are high!

As tradicionais corridas de cavalos, que se realizam desde 1711, são frequentadas pela família britânica e elite europeia mas não só. É considerado um dos acontecimentos mais importantes do ano e uma das suas grandes excentricidades são os chapéus. Este é sem dúvida um elemento essencial da tradição e como tal, existem regras especifícas de vestuário em que os ombros devem estar cobertos, mini-saias são proibidas e deve ser usado um vestido com a obrigatoriedade de um chapéu e cartola para os senhores.

Eu adoro usar chapéus embora nem sempre os ache práticos e neste caso muito menos... de qualquer modo acho que alguns são verdadeiras peças de arte e muitos deles apesar da originalidade (por vezes excessiva) sã extremamente elegantes.

Acho é que quem tiver o azar de ficar atrás de alguns dos donos destes chapéus deve perder metade da corrida, espero que os saltos sejam altos!

Moda do fundo marítimo - IN

Uma das tendências deste Verão são os acessórios e a roupa com motivos marinhos, ou seja, conchas, peixes, mar, algas entre outros. Quando falo neste tipo de acessórios não me refiro ao look navy que esteve em voga no Verão passado, são coisas distintas. De qualquer modo, dá para combinar com os tons de um look de marinheiro, com azul, vermelho e branco. Podem tanto originar um estilo requintado como mais cómodo e prático. O facto de ser tendência não impede de adquirir estas peças a longo prazo pois para além da moda ser um ciclo, penso que são realmente bonitas e desde que seja Verão, facilmente são utilizáveis.

One of the trends this summer are the accessories and clothes with marine motifs, like shells, fish, sea algae and others. When I talk about this kind of accessories I do not mean the navy look that was in vogue last summer, there are different options. Anyway, you can match the tones of a sailor's outfit with blue, red and white. Can both lead to a refined style or a convenient and practical one. The fact that this pieces are the new trend does not mean we should stop purchasing these parts in the long term because besides  fashion is a cycle, I think they are really beautiful and since it is summer, are easily usable.
